I loved this posting. I dearly wish I lived in an area where that assortment of critters was around. I leave a window open for the cats and they graciously bring in birds and rats and mice. Unfortunately, they are often beyond this life, or, if still kicking, cannot find their own way out. As for raccoons and 'possums, the dogs are not very gracious hosts and tend to scare off any would-be visitors, even to the back yard.
